About the event
Kritya Dance Ensemble dancers Arohi Dandawate and Akhila Ballari will perform at the 5th Annual Hartford Dance Festival, a free outdoor celebration of movement, creativity, and community presented by The Hartford Dance Collective in Bushnell Park, Connecticut.
They will present Desh Thillana, a Kuchipudi ensemble work choreographed by Yamini Kalluri, with musical arrangement by Yamini Kalluri and Harsha Mandayam Bharathi. Set to the vibrant melody and rhythm of Desh, the piece explores the charming love story of Sri Valli and Lord Murugan, weaving together classical movement, musicality, and playful storytelling.
