About the event
Join Kritya Foundation for the second day of the Red Cedar Roots Festival in East Lansing, Michigan on August 15. Artistic Director Yamini Kalluri will perform Bhu Suktam, Jhinjhoti Tarana, and Kamalanayana, accompanied live by the Kritya Music Ensemble.
The ensemble will feature Shubha Chandramouli on percussion, Hari Padmanabhan on violin, Rohith Jayaraman on vocals, and Vivek Ramanan on the nattuvangam. This performance will also mark Kritya’s first collaboration with a female percussionist, with Shubha joining the ensemble for this special festival appearance.
