About the event

Join Yamini Kalluri for a three-day intensive in New York City bringing together focused Kuchipudi training, repertoire work, and ballet principles for Indian classical dancers.

The weekend combines sessions open to the general dance community with dedicated training and rehearsal time for Kritya dancers. General participants can attend the complete track or join individual sessions.

The intensive reflects Kritya’s approach to training: grounding dancers deeply in Kuchipudi while drawing thoughtfully from other movement practices to develop strength, alignment, movement efficiency, and a more informed understanding of the dancing body.

📅 Dates: Friday, November 13 – Sunday, November 15

📍 Location: New York City (Venue to be announced)
