We are thrilled to extend a heartfelt invitation to you for a celebration of art, culture, tradition, and innovation at our second New York Kuchipudi Dance Festival. You will be able to enjoy this celebration in the heart of New York City or in the comfort of your own home via live-stream.
This year's festival will again feature talented artists from across the United States, showcasing deep explorations of the Kuchipudi style. Kuchipudi is an ancient South Asian dance style that is renowned for its graceful movements, expressive storytelling, and intricate footwork.
Please join us as we bring the timeless elegance and vibrant energy of Kuchipudi to life.
A 2024 Recap...
At the inaugural New York Kuchipudi Dance Festival, we were honored to:
- showcase 15 Kuchipudi performers spanning from dedicated students to seasoned professionals,
- celebrate the art with ~250 attendees across the in-person and livestream shows,
- experience a wide range of artistic perspectives within the art of Kuchipudi,
- and inspire each other with the possibilities with this art form.
We are looking forward to an even more intentional and fulfilling festival in 2025!
