Supporting holistic development and self-confidence through dance
There is so much more to Indian classical dance than the physical display. Students enjoy exercises in storytelling, self-expression, mythology, spirituality, and development of self. At Kritya we aim to bring forth the truest expression of each student as a dancer and an artist.

About the Instructor
Geetha Vonga – Kuchipudi Instructor | Performer | Dance Educator
Disciple of Padma Shri Dr. Shobha Naidu | Member of Kritya Dance Ensemble
Geetha Vonga is a passionate Kuchipudi artist and educator whose journey in classical dance is deeply rooted in tradition and enriched by continuous learning. She began her training under the legendary Padma Shri Dr. Shobha Naidu, whose guidance laid a strong foundation in both the technical and expressive aspects of Kuchipudi. This early mentorship instilled in her not only discipline and precision but also the devotion and spirit that define classical dance.
She holds a Master’s degree in Kuchipudi, where she studied the art form in depth—exploring its history, theory, and performance practice. Alongside her artistic pursuit, Geetha also excelled academically, earning a Master’s in Information Technology from the University of Texas at San Antonio, USA, which gives her a well-rounded perspective and a unique ability to connect with students of varied backgrounds.
Currently, Geetha continues to expand her artistic vocabulary by learning from acclaimed Kuchipudi dancer and choreographer Yamini Kalluri, and she is a proud member of the Kritya Dance Ensemble. Through this platform, she is actively involved in performing, collaborating, and reimagining the traditional form for new-age audiences.
As an instructor at Kritya Foundation, Geetha brings with her over two decades of immersive experience in teaching and performing. Her classes are structured, yet deeply mindful—designed to nurture not only technique but also the emotional and spiritual growth of each student. She strongly believes that dance is a transformative journey, and she is committed to guiding her students with patience, respect, and joy.
Whether you are stepping into the world of Kuchipudi for the first time or looking to deepen your practice, learning with Geetha means engaging with the tradition in its truest form—while also embracing fresh perspectives and individual expression.

If you only do what you can do,
